You can renew your FAST card 12 months before it expired. You can also renew your FAST membership after it has already expired no matter when and is not required to start the renewal process as an initial application.
How can I submit my FAST renewal application?
To renew your FAST card, please follow these three easy steps below:
- Step 1: Click on the “FAST Card Renewal Application” button, download the FAST pass renewal application form it to your device and then you can start filling it. Send your completed and saved FAST renewal form via e-mail to: info@fast-card-program.com or fax: 1-360-850-0243
To save the completed form, choose File > Save As and choose a location for your PDF, enter a new name (optional), and then tap Save.
- Step 2: Click on the “Payment for FAST Card Renewal Application Processing Fee” button to pay the TTS service fee of $139.99(USD) for processing your FAST card renewal application.
- Step 3: Once you have completed the two steps above, we will receive your completed renewal application and your payment of the TTS service fee. Your FAST program renewal application form will be carefully checked for missing and incorrect information and for compliance with CBP requirements. Once we complete the review of your FAST card renewal application we will process your application and send you email confirmation when it is submitted to the CBP Trusted Traveler (TTP) system.

The $139.99USD TTS service fee is the fee payable to Trusted Traveler Ltd for checking your renewal application, setting up your FAST profile, submitting your FAST renewal application to the US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and arranging your FAST program renewal interview if necessary. It also includes status updates and activation of your FAST card.
The $50USD CBP fee for background and security checks will be taken directly from the credit card you provided on your renewal application form.
What are the next steps in the process of my renewal application?
Once you receive a confirmation email from us that your renewal application is submitted successfully in the system of CBP, this means that your renewal application status is “Pending Review” for background & security checks and it may take between 3 and 6 months. After completing the vetting process by CBP, you will receive an email from CBP about your renewal application status change on your eligibility as a FAST program member.
Two things can happen after:
- In case you are approved directly, you can use the FAST program as soon as you receive by mail within 2-3 weeks and activate your new FAST card.
- If you are conditionally approved, you will be given instructions to schedule your interview at the enrollment center closest to you. It is important that you follow the directions in that notification and to schedule your interview appointment within 730 days at an Enrollment Center. You will receive your card in the mail and you can use it immediately after activation.
Please note that we cannot guarantee your FAST program approval. You may be denied in case you have a criminal record, an immigration violation or you provided false information on your FAST card application form.

Once your FAST application is completed at the TTP system, you will be required to pay the ($50) CBP fee for conducting background and security checks as well. The $50USD CBP fee for background and security checks will be taken directly from the credit card you provided on your renewal application form.
